Faisalabad is the city that is located in the south of Punjab many students and children live and get education there as it was first the part of Sargodha board and schools and colleges were affiliated with that but with time as trend was changed in the past people didn’t send their children to gain education but now that is made compulsory there was a need of independent educational board that was formed in the year 1988 and that was named as board of intermediate and secondary education Faisalabad.  There are many cities and districts those came under the jurisdiction of the board and they are running under it these cities are as following as Faisalabad, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh and Jhang.

Main objective of the board is to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class examination and then they also provide them with certificates. Punjab education commission was formed in the year 2005 that was with main purpose to conduct examination that is for 5th and 8th class these examination are not compulsory but students appear in that for practice that is for the compulsory examination.

Many students appear in SSC examination that is for secondary schools certificate examination for matric class and they are conducted in the month of March and April and many students appear in them and now they are waiting for their results to be announced by the board. Before examination registration occurs that is in the month of January and many students appear and these forms are posted to the affiliated colleges and also online on the website of the board.After that students are also provided with roll number slips and date sheet that is in the month of February after that examination takes place that is in the month of March and April many students appeared in them and now they are excited for the results to be announced.
