This board has many areas those are affiliated with the board those are named and mentioned as Faisalabad, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh and Jhang.

Board appoint people on the merit bases and also it is controlled by the administration and also by the chairman of the board. Board has main function that is for conducting examination of 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class examination and also providing students with certificates after that. Punjab education commission that is PEC was established in the year 2005 and it has main purpose to conduct and monitor the examination of 5th and 8th class those are not compulsory but students appear in them for practice.
